Excursions, Yalta
It is possible to go on many excursions in and around Koriez by foot, with scheduled minibuses or boat. It is among other things well worth walking along the ‘Sun- and tsar trail’ to the Livadia Palace. The last Tsar was particularly fond of making the journey along this path by horse in order to appreciate the beautiful views.
In the following paragraphs we cover just a few of the special sights in the area but there is much more to see and explore. The teachers and family members living at the guest house would be more than happy to accompany any course participants on any excursions and can even help organise them should you wish. There are also opportunities to take part in two or three day tours to, for example, Sudak, Feodosya and Koktebel or even day trips to Bakhchisaray, Eski Kermen, Sevastopol and Chersonesos. For the more adventurous then there are possibilities to go hiking in the Crimean mountains and climb, for example, Ai Petris.
