Getting to Odessa

Getting to Odessa

Air
Odessa's international airport is located about 20 minutes from the centre and is served by both domestic and international flights. A number of major international airlines fly direct to Odessa from European cities. Several other smaller, many domestic, airlines also serve Odessa via Kiev. During the summer season many airlines increase their service to Odessa.

Train
There are daily trains from Kiev, Moscow and a few of the other larger cities in Ukraine. There are also direct train services a couple of times a week from other European cities such as Berlin and Prague. If you travel from these cities you should calculate for at least a couple of stops on the way. It takes between one and two days to get to Odessa from different European cities by train; a long time maybe but it's usually a rather comfortable and unforgettable experience.

Bus
You can get to Odessa by bus from a few European cities. Check with you local travel agency for departures.

Transfer service
You will be picked up at the airport or railway station, no matter when you arrive. You will find a person waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. This transfer service is included in all our study packages if you book accommodation.
