Getting to Vladivostok
Air
There are three daily 9-hour flights from Moscow. Aeroflot has direct weekly flights from Anchorage and Seattle. Vladivostok Air flies twice a week from Niigata and Seoul, and once a week from Pusan. Aeroflot services one weekly flight from Bangkok.
Train
Vladivostok is the eastern terminus for train #1/2 "Rossia". It departs every other day back to Moscow at 1 a.m. local time. Other trains east include the daily #5 "Okean" overnight from Khabarovsk and #7 "Sibir" from Novosibirsk.
Boat
The Far Eastern Shipping Company operates ferries between Vladivostok and the Japanese ports of Fushiki and Niigata during the summer months.
Transfer service
You will be picked up at the airport or railway station, no matter when you arrive. You will find a person waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. This transfer service is included in all our study packages if you book accommodation.
