Russian language courses in St Petersburg
AMBergh, St Petersburg State University and specialised language schools offer Russian language courses to international students in a truly international environment. The various courses that you can choose to enrol in are of different lengths and intensities and are designed to meet the needs of students with a range of different language skills as well as for those different professional needs. Group courses
If you choose to study in a group then you will be in a class with a maximum of 12 students. On arrival you will be asked to participate in a short, informal test before being placed in a class at the appropriate level. The beginners' course is designed for those who want to acquire basic skills in speaking, reading, understanding and writing, with special emphasis on spoken Russian. It includes elementary Russian grammar, conversational classes based on everyday topics and core vocabulary. At more advanced levels the courses are designed for foreigners who wish to improve their existing Russian language skills. In these classes you will have the opportunity to improve your speaking, reading, understanding and writing skills while a special emphasis is placed on improving your grammar.
Individual courses
If you choose to take an individual course then the programme can be tailored to meet your specific needs. You have the opportunity to influence the pace and content of your learning experience.
Certificate
Having satisfactorily completed a course, students receive a certificate indicating the type and length of courses attended.
