Getting to Irkutsk
Air
There are daily flights from Moscow to Irkutsk and connecting flights via Moscow from a large number of European cities. There are also a number of direct flights from other Russian cities as well as from China, Japan and Mongolia.
Train
Irkutsk lies along the Trans-Siberian railway that runs from Moscow to Vladivostok. The train journey takes 3.5 days from Moscow to Irkutsk and 3 days from Vladivostok.
Transfer service
You will be picked up at the airport or railway station, no matter when you arrive. You will find a person waiting for you, holding a sign with your name on it. This transfer service is included in all our study packages if you book accommodation.
